The C2 (medium) turbine will be about the size of a small car (1.5m x 3m), designed to fit in most irrigation canals and generate between 1.5 and 9 kW depending on water velocity. Picture shows the latest prototype with hydrodynamic end caps.
The C3 (large) turbine will be about the size of a small truck (2m x 6m) and generate up to 16kW, depending on water velocity. This model is suitable for major canals and aqueducts.
The turbines will be modular and can be joined together to increase the power output. This allows for different turbine configuration to be used to fits almost any waterway depth and width. So a 30kW turbine can be made by joining three medium or two large turbines.
